Wycliffe Crane Safety is a small independant family
business formed in 1975 by Jim Carney (Ex Coles Cranes Service Executive),
which is now a partnership with Jim and his eldest son Graham. Wycliffe
Cranesafety offer a nationwide service for the supply, installation
and repair of crane & excavator Automatic Safe Load Indicator Systems,
Wheeled Loader Weighing Systems and various other related safety systems
for plant. These include height and slew limiters for cranes excavators,
lorry loaders etc.
We are agents/distributors for a number of UK manufacturing companies including Prolec, Loadwise and Wylie Systems.
We carry out Crane Safety testing and inspections in accordance
with Bristish Standards and Loler at either our premises in Middlesbrough,
or at our customers premises if suitable.
One of our main areas of work is currently with Prolec ASLI system fitted to road/rail machines. These systems include Height and Slew restriction as well as the normal overload warning feature.
As fully trained Prolec Safety Engineers we are able to undertake installations,
calibrations and repairs to any make of road/rail machine.
Also through Prolec we install and calibrate the Weighmaster
and Prolec Loadmaster systems as fitted to front loader shovels for
accurate measurement of bucket contents.
